Girona’s dynamic forward Davide Ediviero has been on fire for his first two matches at the top level, scoring twice and assisting in each one. The 24-year-old has been a standout performer for Girona this season, and is now set for a hot form period that could see him break into the first team.

Ediviero made his debut for Girona against Valencia on Saturday, scoring in the 56th minute and then assisting in the 78th minute as his side went on to win 2-0. He was given plenty of opportunities by manager Miguel Angel Almada, who praised the player for his ability to create space in the box and finish well from distance.

Ediviero's goal in the second half came after he had already found space in the box before firing a low shot past Valencia goalkeeper Sergio Ramos. His assist in the 78th minute came after he had played a through ball to teammate Pablo Sánchez, who volleyed the ball into the bottom corner of the net.

The performance from Ediviero has been a welcome addition to Girona's squad, and it should continue to be a key player going forward as the season progresses. With his recent goals and assists, Ediviero will likely be a regular starter for Girona throughout the rest of the season.
