West Ham United have been hit by the distraction of their Europa Conference League campaign, according to head coach David Moyes.
Moyes said that his players were focused on their league duties and had not been fully prepared for the Europa League group stage draw.
"The Europa Conference League has been our main focus this week," he said.
"But I think it is important for us to remember that we are still in the Premier League and that we need to be ready to perform at our best when the time comes."
Moyes also admitted that there had been some confusion about the team's preparations for the Europa League.
"We have had some issues with the preparation for the Europa League, but I am confident that we will be able to get everything sorted before the start of the season," he added.
"It's important for us to keep our heads down and focus on the Premier League."
The Europa Conference League has provided West Ham with a chance to play against some of Europe's top teams, but Moyes said that they would need to work hard to make sure that they could compete against them.
He also suggested that the club may need to look at changing some of its tactics if they want to improve their performance in the Premier League.
"I think we need to look at how we can improve our performance in the Premier League," he said. "We need to find ways to create more goals and score more goals."
